19 Bosses With Such Unrealistic Expectations Of Their Employees, It’s No Wonder People Are Quiet Quitting

Finding a job can be tough, but finding a job that you actually enjoy doing with a reasonable boss is even tougher. Are you at t job where your boss has the most unrealistic expectations for you as an employee? Do you persevere? Or, do you move on to, hopefully, greener, pastures? It seems that many people would rather quit their job to maintain a healthy work-life balance than work for certain people. Here is a list of 19 overly demanding bosses, as well as some companies that are equally as unrealistic.

1. What kind of work-life balance is this?

Having a good work-life balance surely means being able to go to the toilet at work without being followed. However, this boss thinks otherwise. So, you better make a stinker!

2. Target

Target tends to target any unions formed by their employees. Basically, they don’t want to hear about you wanting a raise. They would rather keep paying low wages, and enforcing long hours.

3. Zero work-life balance here

CEO expects his employees to work 12-15 hours, 6-7 days a week. Some might say he’s motivating them, others think it’s pure exploitation. What say you?

4. No weekend for you

Imagine a world with: “I’m sorry, but you have not earned your weekend pass. Access denied”. So much for a healthy work-life balance.

5. To cheap to hire a replacement

This employee’s work-life balance took a turn when he was arrested. So, he called up his boss from jal to explain his circumstances. Instead of hiring a replacement for the day, they paid for his bail and made him work.

6. Do not be late!

If you have ever seen those people rushing off to work in an utter panic, they probably work for this guy. work-life balance doesn’t always work out, causing us to be late. But, this employer will dock an entire day’s pay from your salary if you are.

This boss seems to like making threats. This woman was on her way to work because her boss told her she would be fired if she didn’t. They did not seem to care about the weather conditions, let alone a hurricane!

The clothing industry is one of the most powerful. Fashion is always changing and the demand for trendy clothes is sky-high. H&M caters for the average person, making their clothes very affordable. But, what of the employees slaving away in the sweatshops?

9. Not a good time for PTO

This company would rather you did not take time off. They urge you to avoid causing disruptions in the workflow. Even at the cost of a good work-life balance.

Having good work-life balance means one should at the very least be able to afford their groceries. However, Walmart employees are struggling with just that.

15. No Christmas for these employees

his company wants to do the very best. Even if it means sacrificing their employees’ major holidays. They are expected to work. Through most of them.
