The internet, regardless of how much information it has, is not at all a trustworthy place. From deepfakes to false information, anything and everything on the internet can be different from what it seems. Presently, a hyperrealistic cake is the latest addition to the extremely fascinating internet gimmicks. Hyperrealistic cakes have taken the world by storm. So much so it has even spawned reality TV and game shows. Could guess if something actually a cake in disguise?
Needless to say, the image of the cake has gone absolutely viral. If you take a look at the image, you might get an idea as to why it is so! Here it is:

Hyperrealistic Cake Pulls The Wool Over Our Eyes
In the image, you can probably see a man smiling on a bed in the hospital. It seems like he is in the middle of an examination. However, how would you feel if we tell you that that is not a man at all? That is, in fact, a hyperrealistic cake!
If you look closer, and at other images provided by the Bake King, you can see the medical staff enjoying a treat rather than giving treatment. The images soon reveal how hyperrealistic the cake is, and the fact that it is, in fact, a cake as the limbs are left cut into pieces.
The man has a name, though. It’s Slowthai and the image first appeared in his music video named “Feel Away”. In the previous year, making hyperrealistic cakes had become a craze on the internet with shorts asking viewers to recognize cakes from real objects. Some of them were really tough. There were burger cakes, bottle cakes, a whole picnic cake, and even a pug (yes, the small dog!) that was a cake.
Even then, a hyperrealistic cake of this extent has been unprecedented for most internet viewers. Dubbed as the “cake of all cakes”, the still of the cake has sent Twitter into a tizzy. As such, a lot of viewers have found it very disturbing. Some have wondered if there won’t be a hyperrealistic cake showing a man baking a cake one day.
