If today is the day you want to start sharpening your mental skills and boosting your brainpower, congratulations! You have chosen the best day to begin such a challenge. Do you know why? Well, it’s because today we have a brainteaser that will challenge everyone! It will require you to use logical thinking, problem-solving skills, as well as strategy, and foresight. This could possibly be one of the trickiest visual riddles we’ve ever posted!
As you are likely aware, giving your brain challenges like the one we have today is good for many reasons. Not only can these types of mental challenges keep your mental acuity sharp, but they can also help retrain your brain to perform to its best capability. Just by doing puzzles for a few minutes a day, your brain will drastically improve!
AmazeOttawa suggests, “solving logic puzzles is like taking your brain to the gym. They exercise parts of the brain that may not be stimulated otherwise. Logic puzzles boost brain activity, encourage systematic thinking, build confidence, reduce boredom, and so much more.” With all of those bonuses, why wouldn’t you play puzzles and solve riddles every day?
Can You Solve this Traffic Riddle?
If you have ever been in traffic, you know it is the worst. Everyone is in a hurry to get somewhere. However, with everyone only focusing on themselves, no one actually gets where they need to be.
Sometimes, accidents happen. All it takes is for one person to not pay attention for a split second. There are less dramatic situations too. A simple four-way stop can confuse people if they haven’t had their morning coffee. But, if everyone has had too much coffee, maybe they would all want to go at the same time.
We can only imagine that is what happened in today’s tricky traffic riddle below. Take a look at the image of the traffic jam, and notice the numbered vehicles. Each car has a number for a reason. You will have to remove one of them in order to get rid of the traffic jam. There are some rules: none of the cars can go in reverse, and none can go sideways. The only way the cars will be able to move through the traffic jam is if the correct one is removed from the problem. Can you find out which one it is?
Remember you can only remove one car. When you do remove that car, the rest of the cars will be able to move freely through the traffic jam.
Solution to Traffic Riddle:
We know this one was pretty tricky. You really had to use your logical thinking skills and go outside the box on this riddle. Were you able to solve it and find the correct answer?
If you correctly solved this puzzle by removing one car, then you would have chosen car number three. By removing pesky car number three, 2 can then move forward. Followed by number 4, then 5. Finally, numbers 6, 7, and 1 can move freely.
