Woman Sparks Fury After Admitting She Doesn’t Wash Pajamas After Every Wear

Cleanliness and hygiene are some of the most important things in an individual’s life. Sure, doing them can be a chore, but how can one live in dirty surroundings? The tasks may be never-ending, but that’s part of being an adult. But as we have often seen, people worldwide have contrasting opinions about cleanliness- with some people claiming that they don’t shower every other day.

Recently, a woman sparked outrage on TikTok when she admitted that she didn’t wash her pajamas routinely after every single wash. Rather, she preferred sticking the soiled garments in the washing machine after she had worn them quite a few times. Although this admission left more than a few people infuriated and horrified about it looking extremely unhygienic, the woman in question didn’t see what the fuss was all about. 

Woman On TikTok Claims She Didn’t Wash Her Pajamas After Daily Use

Allison Delperdang, the TikToker who uploaded the video, is known for uploading small clips of mundane, everyday things to do with adulting. Recently, she went on the social media platform and asked her 11,000 followers about their pajama washing habits. She wrote, “I need to know if people were pajamas multiple nights in a row. When I was younger my parents would always make us wear pajamas multiple nights in a row as they weren’t dirty. And I still do that as an adult.” She further asked her fans about their opinions, and if she should wash her garments before going to sleep each night. She said, “I need to know, as adults are we still doing that. Or should I literally be making dirty clothes every single night.”

Her questions and admission about pajama washing habits did spark a massive debate on her social media channel. Some of her fans stated that wearing them a few nights in a row was acceptable, while others were justifiably horrified. One of her followers commented, “Wait. There’s people who don’t wear their PJs multiple nights in a row?” Another individual noted, “Absolutely wear them multiple times.”

But there were a few who couldn’t get behind this admission. One of them stated, “No, because I am wearing them for 8+ hours, they just don’t feel clean.” Another individual commented, “I never re-wear PJs… we shed dead skin cells constantly and even though it may not be dirty I can’t do it lol.”
