Logical thinking is a skill not all of us possess. It is, however, an important skill, and, we most certainly can all learn how to think this way! What is logical thinking?
According to Glass Door, If a person is able to think in a logical way, they are using reasoning which helps them end up with a viable solution or answer.
This skill allows someone to accurately analyze a situation, make any connections between data, and use the information gathered to solve the problem. Logical thinking requires several reasoning skills and the ability to look at a situation objectively and work towards a solution based on the facts at hand.

Logic Tests: Complete the pattern
Looking at the image above, we see five clocks. The first four clocks have hands and show various times of the day. But, clock number five is blank. Now, using your logical thinking skills, look at the pattern of the first four clocks. Use the pattern to figure out what time clock number five should be showing. Try your best not to sneak a look at the correct answer before coming up with your logical time!
Answer:
If you noticed the correct pattern, you would have seen that the second clock is 1 hour and 10 minutes behind the first, the third one is 1 hour and 20 minutes behind the second, and the fourth one is 1 hour and 30 behind the previous. This means that the time for clock number five should be 5:35. This is because clock five should be 1 hour and 40 minutes behind the fourth one. The pattern is simple and logical! Logic Tests: Solve the math problem
Now, the image above might seem simple and childlike, but, it is a lot trickier than it looks! As can be seen, an answer for the first three equations is shown. You need to find the solution for the fourth and final one. Let us have a look at this logic tests working out:
The first equation says that three pairs of sneakers are equal to 30.
The second equation tells us that a pair of sneakers plus a cat plus a cat equals 20.
Equation number three shows us that a cat plus two whistles plus two whistles equals 13.
Answer:
The answer to this logical test is 30. Here is why, given the working out above, this is what each image represents in numerical form:
- Sneakers: divide 30 by three (as there are three equal parts). So, shoes = 10.
- 10 + cat + cat = 20. therefore, each cat equals 5.
- 5 + whistles + whistles = 13. Therefore, the whistles equal 4
- Equation number four can be translated into 10 + 5 x 4
