She made an appearance on stage at the Grammy awards on Sunday night, which stunned the audience. However, her appearance was not the show’s highlight, and Madonna is determined to remind everyone of the artists she was there to support.

The Queen of Pop has built her life around being in the limelight. Her hay days in the 80s, 90s, and 2000s were enough to captivate the entire world. Her abilities to sing and dance were mesmerizing, and her beauty topped it all off like a cherry on an ice-cream sundae.
On Sunday night, Madonna made a stage appearance at the Grammy Awards to celebrate the performance of Kim Petras and Sam Smith for their performance of “Unholy.” The audience seemed more concerned about the 65-year-old’s smooth complexion and puffy cheeks than the musicians on stage.

“It was an honor for me to introduce Kim Petras and Sam Smith at the Grammys,” Madonna wrote in the caption of the post. “I wanted to give the last award which was album of the year. But I thought it was more important that I present the first trans-woman performing at the Grammys— a History making moment!! And on top of that, she won a Grammy!!”
All in the name of “fearlessness“
Madonna felt that the audience’s attention was misguided. They should not be so focused on her face or choice of attire. Instead, they should appreciate the musicians on stage. Madonna has always been an advocate for the LGBTQ community. So, with the first trans person performing at the Grammys, she needed to bring this to her fan’s attention.
“Instead of focusing on what I said in my speech, which was about giving thanks for the fearlessness of artists like Sam and Kim,” she continued in the caption. “Many people chose to only talk about Close-up photos of me. Taken with a long lens camera by a press photographer that Would distort anyone’s face!!”
We have become accustomed to Madonna’s strange social media posts through the years. Many of her fans have commented on her reels, expressing their concern for one of their favorite artists. Some of whom wrote they wished for the old Madonna to return. However, Madonna is adamant that she has been subjected to ageism.
“Once again I am caught in the glare of ageism and misogyny That permeates the world we live in,” she wrote. “A world that refuses to celebrate women past the age of 45 And feels the need to punish her If she continues to be strong-willed, hard-working, and adventurous.”

Unapologetically Madonna
Madonna went on to highlight her creative efforts and reassure her fan that she regrets nothing. “I have never apologized for any of the creative choices I have made. Nor the way that I look or dress and I’m not going to start. I have been degraded by the media since the beginning of my career but I understand that this is all a test and I am happy to do the trailblazing so that all the women behind me can have an easier time in the years to come. In the words of Beyonce “You-won’t break my soul”,
She concluded the post by saying, “I look forward to many more years of subversive behavior -pushing boundaries-Standing up to the patriarchy -and Most of all enjoying my life.”
