Gorgeous Wild Cat Turns Heads As She Casually Struts Down Street

Have you ever seen a wild cat IRL? Seeing that most of you are probably unlucky like me (who has never even seen a bear), I’m happy to say that I have a great story to share with you today.

For those of you who have never had the pleasure of visiting British Columbia in Canada, you need to know one thing. There’s a lot of wildlife.

To clarify, when I say there’s a lot of wildlife, I’m more or less talking about when you’re on a hike and not in the middle of a town/city.  Although there are many mountains, the animal most frequently spotted is a black bear and, god forbid, depending on where you are hiking, a grizzly bear.

To summarize, it’s quite rare to see a wild cat. Personally, I’ve been to BC three times to go hiking, and I’ve seen nothing but a chipmunk. However, Allision Burton has much better luck than I do.

Burton spotted a lynx while at her home in a small BC town. To reiterate, it is insanely rare to see a wild cat in the forest, let alone a wild cat walking down your street!

The wild cat appeared to take it’s time. Consequently, this allowed burton to grab her camera and snap these beautiful photos for us!

“I have never seen one [a wild cat] in real life, ever, I was so excited and in awe just to see this beautiful creature walking so close,” Burton shared [1].

Of course, Burton’s neighbors were completely mesmerized too and stopped to look at this magnificent sight.

It was just so majestic and happy to be in its own little world, doing its own thing,” Burton said. “The local people are in the same mood — just love seeing these beautiful animals,“[1].

The wild cat slowly but surely made her exit. However, the memory of her short appearance in this little Canadian town will last a lifetime.
