Vasquez was born in San Francisco to Cuban and Colobian parents. She now lives and works in California as an associate for a reputable law firm known as Brown Rudnick. Her practice specializes in defamation cases like this one. According to her bio on the Brown Rudnick website, she has “additional experience litigating contract disputes, business-related torts, and employment-related claims.” Not only that, but she is “adept at formulating offensive and defensive litigation strategies for private clients.”

Camille Vasquez is now working for Depp in his case against Heard, and has recently shot to the top of everyone’s news feeds after she cross-examined Heard in court, objecting to almost all of Elaine Bredehoft, Amber’s attorney’s questions. One of Camille’s fans made a TikTok video of her repeatedly objecting and it has gone viral since. Every week the video is viewed over 17million times. It has also been shared about a 4.6million times. The video is captioned: “Where did this woman get her degree?”
As seen in the video, Camille is wearing an eye-catching white suit that has caught the attention of many. She was chosen to deal with the witness testimony over and above Ben Chew, the lead attorney for the case. It was thought that Camille’s age made her a better choice when interrogating Heard. So, Vasquez managed to steer the attention away from the evidence against Depp and made some good points. One of them was to show many photos of Amber Heard during the time she had accused Johhny Depp of abusing her, and none of them showed injuries.

Further, the media has had a lot to say about Camille Vasquez. Some even compare her to the character, Rachel Zane, whom Meghan Markle played on “Suits.” With all of the buzz about her success in court, somewhere along the line, a rumor started that Camille and Johnny share a slightly more intimate relationship than a professional one. So, one paparazzi member asked Camille if they were dating. He said: “The people want to know, are you dating Johnny Depp. It’s all over the Internet. Can you set the record straight? Yes or no.”
There is a video online where you can see the encounter, which can be seen below. Camille Vasquez is seen walking out of the courtroom in her white suit and smiles broadly. After that, she continues to walk past the paparazzi, and avoid answering his probing question.
TMZ may have had a part to play in the summer, but they did clarify that Camille is already involved with another man. An insider told TMZ that Camille mentioned that she thinks Johnny Depp is “funny and couldn’t help but laugh at some of his antics and/or his sense of humor.”

The insider also explained that Johnny and Camille behave as friends would even though they have a professional relationship. “Everyone on the legal team is buttoned up,” says the insider. “But, they’ve all gotten very close to their client—it’s become both a professional relationship and a friendship.”
Their fans might be disappointed, but according to the insider, Camille admires her client, Johnny Depp, but it is not in a romantic kind of way. Since Camille took Depp’s case on, she has been dubbed the “Hermione of Law,” thanks to her sharp mind and effective counterarguments.
