Wheel of Fortune is one of the biggest shows on daytime TV. For the last three decades and counting, this show has enthralled men, women, and children alike with the puzzling answers that it sometimes brings up. In fact, some of the answers have been so confusing that they have also made it on the internet- serving as quite perplexing to people over social media. They have become so mainstream that even if one never saw an episode in their whole lives, they would still be willing to get the answer out. Recently, a question that was asked in 2017 started getting traction on Twitter again.
Needless to say, this led to some pretty ridiculous guesses being thrown around. What did some of the social media users respond with? Let’s see.
Puzzling Wheel Of Fortune Question Leads To Ridiculous Answers
1. A Cutlery Joke?
A Twitter user responded to the blanks with ‘Lick it fork’, to which another user commented, “That fork’s not gonna lick itself.” While someone else had responded with “Suck it dork”, “Lick it fork” did bring some malice into the situation.
2. Do You Kiss Your Mother With That Mouth?
Another commenter responded with, “My mother’s answer to this was ‘lick it dork’. But ‘suck it dork’ works too!” Needless to say, this was definitely not family-friendly.
3. We Stan A Queen!
@starlitup answered the question with “Sick at work?” Now, don’t we all relate to this conundrum? But that wasn’t the right answer either, unfortunately.
4. Surreal
MrMunk00 answered, “Duck at work”, and let’s just say, they were quite proud of this answer. Well, we haven’t ever seen a duck at work, so either they have infinite leave days, or they are just lazy bums.
5. Strictly Business
While everyone was shooting their shot in the dark, user @PelicansPel demanded, “I need the category.” A reasonable request, we would say.
6. Back To The Past?
Venmo Tucker answered the question with, “Back at Zork”, which sparked a whole comment section. One user commented, “OMG!! I remember having this game on PC in the early 90s, but completely forgot about it until I saw this picture.” Another user commented, “This game was so bad and I played it so much.”
7. The Real Answer
Alex Carroll wrote, “Watched this tonight and my thought was ‘suck it work’, so I was very impressed when the contestant got ‘back at work’ in less than 1 sec.”
