Hygiene is apparently the new anti-aging remedy, and Salma Hayek is the proof. She follows a tip given to her by her grandmother when she was a teenage,r and it has kept the decades from showing on her face.

There are millions of beauty routines to choose from. One to fit every skin type or personality. Some routines require a rather expensive collection of products and the ones that are a little more frugal. Salma Hayek is a name that has been around for a while. Her face reflects one that is much younger than her age in reality. Many people have been dying to know what her secret is.
While she was scrolling through the comments section on her Twitter account asking what she does to keep her skin glowing so beautifully, she felt it prudent to share the knowledge passed down to her from her grandmother. The comment read, “What is Salma Hayek’s skincare routine? That woman is in her 50s and looks amazing.”
Salma Hayek’s key to youth
According to reports, Salma Hayek just let go of the need to wash her face. At least, she avoids washing it in the morning. At this point, many people might have though, “TMI…” and possibly wrinkled their noses a little bit. However, Salma tried her best to reassure everyone that its not as gross as it sounds. “My grandmother taught me to never wash my face in the morning. It’s not disgusting guys.”
One dermatologist expressed his opinion on Salma’s skincare advice. It seems they are not exactly in support of this. They are far more concerned with blocked pores taking their toll on your complexion. “I love Salma but I don’t agree with her grandmother’s or her views on skin cleansing. Cleansing is one of the single most important things you can do for your skin,” they said. “The best way to protect against this is via cleansing, as he explained: “If you do not cleanse your skin twice a day, your pores will become clogged, and your skin will start to look dull.”
Thoughts on aging
Many celebrities clearly fear aging and will stop at nothing to appear decades younger and will fight tooth and nail to keep their treatments a secret. Salma Hayek seems to be the exception. she has aged gracefully, allowing her face’s natural oils to keep her youthful complexion untainted.
“I thought getting older meant I wasn’t going to work; I’m working, and I thought getting older maybe meant that you’re not in love anymore; I’m in love,” said the 56-year-old Salma Hayek. “I don’t feel that I lost my flexibility or my agility or even my strength. But I do have to say that I have found it beautiful, getting older with someone.”
Salma also spoke about her thoughts on Hollywood’s issues with aging women. Madonna has recently chimed in on this bandwagon after her appearance shocked the world at the recent Grammy awards. Ageism has been an issue for a while in Hollywood. But now, many female celebrities have been speaking up about it.
“In terms of Hollywood, yeah, it’s changing. But I do still think that, overall, women are still feeling the pressure of making sure they succeed in their 30s,” she said. “And also, the world we’re living with, social media, we are more addicted to immediacy, and we’re losing the capacity to stay present and be patient. I do feel like young girls have a lot of pressure to succeed fast. I actually think they’re suffering more than my generation.”
