Growing up with siblings can be one of the hardest challenges in life, but the most rewarding at the same time. The can push you to your limits, but they are lifelong friends at the same time. Who is Owen Wilsonâs brother?
In February Owen Wilson admitted that he and his brother are still very close in a phone call with TODAY. He started out talking about the new romantic comedy he is starring in but ended up talking about his roommate that he shared accommodations with in Atlanta. None other than is brother, Luke Wilson. Owen joked that rooming with his brother reminded him why he loves him, and what frustrate him. âIt was fun. It all comes rushing back to you, what you love about the guy and then what can also drive you crazy,â said Owen.

Luke is well known for his role in Legally Blond, but not so much for his role as Owen Wilsonâs brother. Surprisingly, they share the same surname. They were both working on a project of their own, and found it convenient to stay together. That way, they had a partner in crime. Although, he admitted they argued a lot. âIt was nice that we were both there working on things and you have someone to go to dinner with and watch games with, and argue with. There was a lot of arguing.â

All three Wilson brothers
Owen Wilson has more than one brother. Besides Luke, there is their older brother Andrew who is 57. They have been lucky enough to work together, all three of them. So, in 2005, they banded together for the production of The Wendell Baker Story. On the outside, this must have looked like a dream team. But, according to Owen Wilson, it was both âgood and badâ.
Luke Wilson described their dynamic in an argument in an interview. He said Andrew had wanted to carry on with a particular scene when Owen was supposedly finished with it. âOwen basically said he was done with the scene,â Luke said. âAnd we didnât feel like weâd gotten it. So Andrew is like, âYouâre done? Youâre not going to do it again?â [He] looks at me and Iâm like, âI canât, youâre bigger than he is, just kick his ass. Just kick his ass, man.'â

Owen Wilson is the middle child of the pack and all three brothers grew up together in Dallas, Texas, where they developed a strong bond, the likes of which carried through to adulthood. They collaborate with each other and support each other in ways many siblings around the world would envy.
Owen opens up about his upcoming film
Owen Wilsonâs brother, Luke, would not have had the privilege of rooming with his brother had Owen not been cast in Jennifer Lopezâs new film, Marry Me. He is playing the role of a math teacher, which is ironic, to say the least. Apparently, Owen had struggled with math when he was in school. However, he joked that this was probably some of his best acting in his entire career. âThat mightâve been my best acting in the movie,â he said.
