New Netflix movie ‘Fall’ is terrifying and making people ‘sick to their stomachs.’

A new Netflix movie has made the fans of the streaming service quite queasy after watching it. In fact, one person has also called the survival thriller Fall as one of the most terrifying films this year. Interestingly, this movie is neither horror nor a slasher movie. Rather, it centers on Hunter and Becky, played by Virginia Gardner and Grace Caroline Currey, respectively, who climb to the top of a radio tower at 610 meters to scatter the ashes of Dan, Becky’s husband. While things go swimmingly initially, they soon take a turn for the worse. When they reach the top of the tower, the ladder breaks, and the women are stranded at the very top.

And if this new Netflix movie still isn’t tense enough for you- that is just the tip of the iceberg. The bag the women carry- including water- also falls, and neither can find cellular coverage to call for help. Considering the brief synopsis, one can understand why this movie is not easy for people of the faint of heart to watch- similar to Ryan Reynolds’ Buried or James Franco’s 127 Hours. Even the official Netflix Twitter account posted, “Almost every single shot from Fall (2022)- a film about two women who get stranded after climbing to the top of a 2000 ft radio tower- will make you feel a bit wobbly.

The New Netflix Movie- Fall- Is Not For The Faint Of Heart

As it turns out, the new Netflix movie is actually that gut-wrenching and not just a bunch of exaggerated reports. One viewer wrote, “Fall on Netflix is one of the most terrifying films I’ve seen in my entire life and I love horror. No blood, no gore, just horrific anxiety throughout watching those two girls try and survive. It’s just awful. A one time only watch as my palms are now sweating!” Another poster also commented, “I’ve always found it difficult to describe my random fear/anxiety of heights, tall objects and large open spaces from above. Fall on Netflix is basically it, my hands were sweaty and vertigo kicked in just watching it.”

This isn’t the last of the comments on this new Netflix movie. Another viewer also wrote, “I was looking forward to watching this. but didn’t realise just how scared of heights I am. It’s my own silly fault I now feel sick and a bit shaky. I’d have been terrified up there.” As of now, the movie has a rating of 79% on Rotten Tomatoes, while it stands at 6.4 on IMDb. It is assumed that the low score on IMDb is due to people who were scared stiff by the visuals in the movie.
