This is the story of Jamie Carlton, a homeowner in Colorado. One day, he had arrived home from work and checked his surveillance footage. What he saw surprised and delighted him all the same. The footage saw a few kids riding up their bikes to his home and then wandering around the door. With no one to answer the door, the automatic machine behind the camera said, “Hi, we can’t answer the door right now, but the camera is recording. So please just leave us a message. Thanks for coming by.”

Kids Return Man’s Wallet With $700 In Cash Inside
This is where the footage panned towards the kids who were trying to place something. Next, they stated that they had found the wallet of the man outside his vehicle and wanted to return it back. They further stated that they didn’t want it to get stolen- hence they were putting it up on his stoop. The wallet belonged to Nigel, Jamie’s son.
Apparently, it had fallen out of his pocket while he was on his way to work. The wallet also had $700 in cash stuffed inside. “We found your wallet outside of your car, and we just thought we would give it back to you so. I’m going to put it over here so no one takes any money.”
