Kanye West Fans Launch GoFundMe Pages to Help Him Reclaim His Billionaire Status

There always seems to be a juicy topic when it comes to celebrities. They are always getting up to something that we simply cannot resist talking about. However, today we are here to talk about noncelebrities, the everyday normal folk who happen to be fans of rapper Ye, formerly known as Kanye West. They have set up a GoFundMe page in his honor. Their aim is to reclaim his billionaire status through donations.

Kanye West fans stop at nothing

Kanye West’s name has dragged through the muck for a few years now. Some say he is being targeted unfairly, but most say it is of his own doing. He had a recent outburst where he was making some seriously vile antisemitic statements. To put it mildly, his words were not appreciated. In fact, it was quite the opposite, which resulted in Adidas disassociating itself from the rapper.

Adidas said in a statement to the press: “Adidas does not tolerate antisemitism and any other sort of hate speech. Ye’s recent comments and actions have been unacceptable, hateful, and dangerous, and they violate the company’s values of diversity and inclusion, mutual respect, and fairness.”

Since the controversial statements, other brands have cut ties with West. These include Balenciaga, CAA, Vogue, Gap, and Foot Locker. He wrote on Instagram recently that he lost two billion dollars in one day.

According to reports, there was another GoFundMe page set up in 2016 for Kaye West. This one was also set up by his fans, and it actually made $53 million. However, Ye allegedly refused to accept the money. So, it was donated to a Musical charity called Notes for Notes.

Pages were taken down

One person pointed out that Kanye West most likely didn’t ask his fans to start the page. They wrote: “Looking at the comments and you will see ZERO difference in Kanye and the commentors. Hello, he didn’t ask for his fans to do GOFUNDME for him, all that are just sarcastic & fraudulent. I believe in Ye and I know he will bounce back from his mistakes…”

Another person said: “Go Fund Me Now must stop this account! Loser millionaire lost ant crazy. He boast he has $100 million in the bank.” Well, it turns out that GoFundMe did take the page down, and it only managed to earn $5. But, those who saw the page have tried their luck with their own GoFundMe. Who doesn’t want to be a billionaire?

What did Ye say?

Kanye West has made quite a name for himself when it comes to controversial comments and behavior. From boasting about his lucrative bank account to sweeping statements that are just downright racist. Furthermore, he has been photographed wearing a T-shirt that read, ” white lives matter”. This was perceived as a misappropriation of the “black lives matter” campaign.

Of course, there was the infamous Tweet that has caused the recent uproar, where he stated he was “going death con 3 on Jewish people.” He later mentioned in an interview with Piers Morgan that he was sorry for hurting people with the comment. Although, he later admitted he was “absolutely not” sorry for writing it.
