The Lottery Is A Proof That There Is No Time Limit On Benevolence

Lamour revealed on February 3rd that she had won the $48 million Gold Ball draw that had taken place on January 7th. On that fateful day, she decided to buy a lottery ticket on a whim after taking her grandfather some ice cream. Talking about the event, Lamour stated, “I called him on the phone asking what kind of ice cream he wanted. And he said to me: ‘You just turned 18, go buy a lotto ticket, test your luck.’ So I did. I got to the corner store and I’m in my car- and I didn’t know how to buy it. So I had to call my dad. I said: ‘Dad, Grandpa wants me to buy a ticket. How do I do it?’ He’s like: ‘Oh, just go inside and get a QuickPick’.”

Although she now has the resources to do whatever her mind aspires for, the lottery winner is pretty steadfast in her direction in life. She wants to continue with her university program, after which she would be attending the Northern Ontario School of Medicine. Following that, she hopes to start her practice in Northern Ontario. She also had the added advantage of having a financial advisor father who would surely advise Juliette on the best way to spend her cash.

Juliette mentioned, “I have to think about it. We’re definitely going to keep friends and family in mind. And tonight, I’m still a university student so I’m planning on finishing my biology report.
