Landscape Company Gives Employees $28 Million In Appreciation Bonuses For Job Well Done

Employee appreciation is quite a useful characteristic that most companies would do well to know. While most companies do give bonuses at the end of the year, sometimes an extraordinary act of generosity can bear witness to the smiles of the employees. Recently, it was announced that Ruppert  Landscaping had given its employees bonuses from a starting sum of $7,000 all the way up to $200,000 to those who had a tenure of over one year. This was considered as a “thanks for the role they’ve played in the company’s growth and development.” Around 1,200 workers, which did exclude all those who were functioning in the top leadership positions, received the bonus which added up to an enormous $28 million.

Landscaping Company Distributes Huge Bonus As Employee Appreciation

The company went on to state that the normal end-of-year bonuses which resulted in employee appreciation were not altered or deducted by the gifts. These were usually announced at all of the important staff meetings. Furthermore, none of the benefits excluded the 401(k) matching, paid time off, health insurance, and holidays. The CEO of the company, Craig Ruppert stated, “Everyone receiving this bonus was instrumental in helping create the value that we’ve been able to realize. This bonus is money that is well-deserved and a way for us to acknowledge the value of our teams’ contributions and the essential role that they will play in our company’s future.

This landscaping company, which put up the noble venture of employee appreciation, was created in the 1970s by Craig Ruppert. At that time, he was a teenager who had decided to cut the yards of his neighbors for money. From those humble beginnings, the company came up. Now it includes a talented team of management with projects that have been considerably growing in complexity and scale.
