TikTok ‘Catfisher’ Reveals How She Makes Herself Look Years Younger

If you have ever used any online dating platform, you would know what a catfish is. A catfish is basically someone who looks nothing like their pictures or videos in real life. While catfishing isn’t usually something to be proud of, this TikToker has turned it into an art. This woman has been labeled as the best in the world because she can completely transform her appearance — and she does this simply with the help of tape and makeup. This woman from Windsor, Canada, Chloe Fountain, usually leaves her audience quite speechless when she uploads videos of herself before and after a transformation. She readily uploads this glam up on TikTok, where she has accrued close to 991,000 followers.

The Ultimate Catfish Only Requires some Makeup and a Little Tape

According to Fountain, she is so unrecognizable after she applies makeup that several people on TikTok have already accused her of using filters or simply editing all of her videos to enhance the way she looks. At the same time, others think that this woman uses another person- maybe her daughter- to trick the audience into believing it was her both before and after the glam-up. Nevertheless, she has always insisted that this is her all the way through. Recently, she showed off some of the comments she received on her videos, one of which was, “WTF just happened? There’s no way you’re the same person. That has to be her mom.” This video, where she showed the entire process, started with her looking at the lens without applying makeup or a filter. Her skin had a few spots and wrinkles- as normal faces do- and her hair was messy.

But then the video moved to another clip that showed her with the transformation. Her complexion looked far smoother, her lips looked plumper, and her hair was done. In the caption, she insisted, “It’s me. No makeup and makeup. I’m just really ugly without makeup I guess lol.” In an interview with Newsweek, this TikToker claimed that every single video of her was “100% truthful”. But what she also admitted to was the fact that she actively tried to make herself look a lot messier than she was in the ‘before’ part of the transformation. “I would say I make myself look slightly worse than I normally do. If I’m extra puffy because I’ve slept on my stomach, then I’m like, ‘Today would be a good day.”

She Swears By A Few Products- Claiming That It Would Work For Anyone

Talking about the criticisms she receives on TikTok, the genius catfisher mentioned that she found it quite funny. Interestingly, she also understood the disbelief that her audience felt since the difference was so tremendous. She went on to explain, “I find it kind of funny. It’s obviously a dramatic difference, and sometimes, seeing isn’t believing, especially on the internet.” The beauty influencer swears by Peter Thomas Roth’s instant FirmX Temporary Face Tightener, which costs $49. She added, “Put a thin layer of that on because it will leave a film. Just put it on really thin, and voila. The Peter Thomas Roth really is as realistic as I make it look.” She went on to clarify that she was not promoting the brand- nor was she paid to promote it.

When talking about her wrinkles and how she deals with them, Chloe mentioned using tape to pull them back. “Wrinkles do cause shadows, so if you pull them back, your face will look lighter. The makeup and the tape can make a huge difference. People even comment saying, ‘I bought the tape and it really does work.’ You get the ones with the strings that really pull you back. It stays on all day for me.” Since she didn’t specify the tape that she uses- one can assume that any tape with strings would work. Further, she added, “I put the tape behind and above my ears so it pulls back my smile lines and my skin lines. People think it’s a scam but I’m just pulling the wrinkles back.

She’s Used to the Catfish Negativity

Some other products that the catfisher swears by include Charlotte Tilbury’s $44 Hollywood Flawless Filter, and the $8 Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Concealer. Speaking in The New York Post, Fountain mentioned, “I also like L’Oreal’s Infallible foundation powder because I find it’s better on older skin than liquid foundation, which sets into your wrinkles and causes them to protrude more.” People usually flood her comment section with expressions of disbelief. Recently, an individual commented, “Are you mom and daughter? ‘Cause that change is some right witchcraft darling.” Another user commented, “There’s no way on this Earth.” One user joked about the situation with, “And this, lads, is why you always take the first date out when its heavy rain.”

Chloe Fountain, catfish extraordinaire, had previously addressed all the negative comments that she receives, where she explained that she didn’t really get bogged down by them. “When I was a kid, my mom would bully me and say mean things like, ‘You’ll never be a model, your legs are too fat.’ So if I can take her negativity throughout my whole life, I can definitely take people hating on me online. I’m not trying to fool anyone or make anyone feel dumb. I just want to show the world that you can make beautiful changes to yourself at any age.
