Recently, he celebrated his 68th birthday with his whole family, including his current wife, Emma, and his ex-wife, Demi Moore. In an Instagram video posted of the celebration, Bruce is seen thoroughly enjoying himself. It was the first time he’s spoken publicly of his diagnosis.

Not many people can say they have maintained a healthy friendship with their ex-spouses. Mostly, marriages end in a big debacle of arguments. However, when it comes to Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, they are divorced, but they are also great friends. Together, they have co-parented their three children, Rumer, Scout, and Tallulah, admirably. Bruce went on to Marry Emma Heming in 2009. After that, they welcomed Mabel and Evelyn into his all-girl clan of children.
Bruce recently celebrated his 68th birthday with his whole family. He was seen to be in a great mood, surrounded by his children and his wife, Emma Heming, 44. His ex-wife, Demi Moore, was also celebrated alongside him and filmed the festivities. She took to Instagram to share the fun they were having, and they all sang Happy birthday – even Bruce joined in the sing-along.
Then, it was time to blow out the candles. Bruce Willis gave it his all and blew out the flames in an animated manner, providing an opportunity for everyone to giggle because he seemingly lost his balance in the process. When the song was over, they all had a moment to laugh. As they all said, “Hip-Hip, Hooray!” Bruce held up his arms and pretended to loop a lasso. The caption of Demi’s post read: “Happy birthday, BW! So glad we could celebrate you today. Love you and love our family. Thank you to everyone for the love and warm wishes — we all feel them.”
Bruce’s Family Spoke About his Dementia
Now that some time has passed since Bruce Willis’s diagnosis, the condition has progressed. It has become more obvious what kind of dementia he has. His family took to The Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration’s website and posted this statement:
“Our family wanted to start by expressing our deepest gratitude for the incredible outpouring of love, support, and wonderful stories we have all received since sharing Bruce’s original diagnosis.” the statement continued with their optimism: “Since we announced Bruce’s diagnosis of aphasia in spring 2022, Bruce’s condition has progressed and we now have a more specific diagnosis: frontotemporal dementia (known as FTD). Unfortunately, challenges with communication are just one symptom of the disease Bruce faces. While this is painful, it is a relief to finally have a clear diagnosis.”
A Tribute from Bruce Willis’s Wife, Emma
Naturally, Emma Heming also wished her beloved husband a happy birthday. She opened up about how much she loves him, that she is praying for him, and hopes his fans pray for him too. “He is pure love. He is so loved. And I’ll be loving him always. Happy Birthday my sweet,” she wrote. “My birthday wish for Bruce is that you continue to keep him in your prayers and highest vibrations because his sensitive Pisces soul will feel it. Thank you so much for loving and caring for him too.”
Some fans responded to Demi Moore’s Instagram post with birthday wishes for Bruce Willis too. One fan wrote: “This made me cry. Happy Birthday, Bruce Willis! You are so loved and admired by many!!! Thank you for sharing your life, talent, and love with the world.”
Another commented: “Blew them candles out like a pro tho!!!” A third gave compliments to the women in his life: “He is a lucky man to have so many wonderful women to care for him.”
