Bartender Accidentally Outs Cheating Husband Because Of Her Poor Eyesight

If you have seen any movie or TV show over the last decade, you would realize that a bartender has quite an important role to play. Either the main actor sits with the bartender and pours their heart out, or it is the bartender narrates the story from a different perspective. Several other shows also feature a bar, pub, or cafe quite extensively. One would only have to think about shows like How I Met Your Mother, or FRIENDS to understand the importance of a bar or a cafe in everyday life. Bartenders and baristas see a lot, hear a lot, and know a lot. They are privy to a lot of stories, and any Hollywood producer would pay big bucks to transform any of them on the big screen. 

Recently, a bartender who also posts TikTok videos by the name of Cayley shared one such story about a cheating husband, which soon went viral. The video was viewed 3.5 million times and had around 300,000 likes. The narrative was shaped into a proper story, with a solid introduction, a crescendo where the plot reaches a climax, and an extremely shocking ending to the entire story. The story begins with a paid, woman and a man, who started frequenting the bar where Cayley worked every day a few months back. A male arrived at the same time, and sat in place for close to ten minutes, after which a woman joined him at around 4:45 clock.

Bartenders Have A Lot of Stories To Tell

The TikTok creator wrote, “Pretty sure that all of us, as bartenders have, at some point in time, accidentally told someone that their partner was having an affair, am I right? I know some bartenders do this on purpose because it’s like a moral thing for them. For me, I’m like, whatever you do in person is what you do in your personal life. I am just here to make drinks and serve them. So I just, I just soak in the drama. You know, I try not to blow things up for people, even though I 110% hate and discourage cheating on your partner.”

After Cayley started seeing the pair frequenting her bar on multiple occasions, she came to the conclusion that they were having an affair. Since the bar was not filled with patrons, she was able to observe the cheating husband over the course of a few days. And soon she realized that there was adultery going on. With several years of experience as a bartender, she was able to discern it quite quickly, as certain characteristics of conduct, body language, and gestures couldn’t be misunderstood by anyone. 

The Tale Of The Cheating Husband

Cayley mentioned, “However, this is one of my favorite stories where I did accidentally let somebody know that their partner was cheating on them. And I 110% did not mean it. To start off, I want to give you guys the backstory. So I was bartending at this restaurant. […] So the man would always order a margarita with Don Julio. Now, once the lady would come, they would then ask if they could sit in my table section and they would go and sit at the table that was like closest to the bar. It became very apparent to me that these people were having an affair after quite sometime, just by their behavior. Bartending for a while you kind of see the same type of behaviors, but also the fact that they both wear wedding rings, and they both exclusively told me that they were each other’s friend.”

After a few days of noticing it, Cayley finally had a chance to talk to the woman after she saw the man leave her one fine day. Walking up to her, she started chatting with the woman, who told her that she was about to divorce her husband and this person was helping her deal with her finances. And this is when the woman decided to drop a curveball as she also spoke about how much she was in love with this man, and that he had been vacillating over leaving his wife for her, and not doing so at the same time. In the meanwhile, he had also commented on the bartender’s beauty to his female companion, which apparently made her so mad that they had an argument- which is what made him leave.

The Bartender Surely Didn’t Know She Was About To Break A Relationship (Or Two), Or Did She?

After that, Cayley didn’t see the couple again. Things were going fine and dandy for her until fate decided to play a game again. “And this one particular night, I was having trouble with my contacts. And so I decided to wear my glasses. And then I don’t like wearing glasses, I get tension headaches. […] Guess who I see walks in while I’m working this shift. This man walks up to the bar, and he has a lady with him who has blonde hair and looks just like the lady he usually brings with him. I noticed them and I’m like excited to see him.”

As it turns out, the bartender couldn’t properly see the woman who was standing with the cheating husband and thought that this was the same lady who she had talked to earlier. But in reality, this was the man’s wife- the woman he was considering leaving for his female friend. And with the bartender’s unintentional admission that she had seen the man with another woman frequenting this bar, it wasn’t really difficult for the wife to connect the dots. Cayley’s co-worker informed her, “Yeah, that’s actually his wife and you just blew it for him.” And Cayley responded, “Man, because like she has same hair, same body type, just different face. I just couldn’t see the details. I have to say is that, that man sure does have a type.” Unfortunately for the man- he was about to have neither woman in his life anymore!
