Heroic Michael J Fox Brings Fans To Tears In Back To The Future Reunion With Christopher Lloyd

Michael J. Fox, the star of Back to The Future and other movies, recently got reunited with Christopher Lloyd at the New York Comic Con. The reunion was quite a tearjerker, as they had last been in a movie around four decades back. The 61-year-old Fox, who is currently battling Parkinson’s disease, took to the stage first and entertained in his usual style. He started off with the air guitar version of Marty McFly’s moves from the Johnny B. Goode scene in the movie. After that, he was joined by Lloyd, bringing in loud cheers from the audience who had loved both of their performance in the hit franchise. With both of them on the couch again, the audience decided to start asking them questions.

One fan who visited the event recently wrote, “Back to the Future reunion at New York Comic Con. So sad to see Michael J Fox like this but he’s such a fighter. That hug with Christopher Lloyd is so emotional.” The clip of him hugging Lloyd then made the rounds of the internet, with one viewer commenting, “I’m not crying, you’re crying.” On Twitter, someone tweeted, “Simply the best. I tried to hold back the tears, but it didn’t work. Love these two. Michael J Fox is simply just the most amazing human. Christopher Lloyd oh my heart.” Another fan mentioned, “The most beautiful and heartwarming video that will bring tears to your eyes. #MichaelJFox is a hero, courageous, and an inspiration. His friendship with Christopher Lloyd never has faded.”

Michael J Fox and Christopher Lloyd Have Reunited For Back to The Future

Most of Twitter started praising the star of Back to The Future, Michael J Fox, on his constant and uphill battle with Parkinson’s. The star had been diagnosed with it in 1991- with the disease affecting the brain and leading to issues like stiffness and shaking. One individual commented, “I have 3 generations of Parkinson’s in my family, and the internal self-consciousness and external stigma are real. Michael J Fox is a hero. This brought tears of joy to my eyes.” Another individual stated, “My father-in-law battled Parkinson’s for many years before passing away a few months ago. It is brutal. The effort, determination & courage on display here by Michael J Fox brought me to tears. Massive respect for him.”

In an interview that took place last year with AARP, the star of Back to The Future stated that he was absolutely grateful for everything that he had been able to achieve throughout his life. He stated, “People often think of Parkinson’s as a visual thing, but the visuals of it are nothing. It’s what you can’t see- the lack of an inner gyroscope, of a sense of balance, of peripheral perception. I mean, I’m sailing a ship on stormy seas on the brightest of days.” He further continued, “I’m really blunt with people about cures. When they ask me if I will be relieved of Parkison’s in my lifetime, I say, ‘I’m 60 years old, and science is hard. So, no. Some days are a struggle. Some days are more difficult than others. But the disease is this thing that’s attached to my life- it isn’t the driver.
