Getting onto a flight can be terribly exciting. The new adventures that await, the potential job you’re about to start, not to mention reveling in everyone else’s excitement can be seriously contagious. However, one passenger couldn’t contain themselves after finding out that an A-lister was on board the same flight. She went viral with a video she posted, trying to determine who the mystery celebrity was.
Mystery celebrity Onboard Flight
Nowadays, it is not unheard of for people to go viral over just about anything. Videos can spread across the planet in a matter of minutes. With the right captions and tempting editing, anyone can become an overnight viral sensation. One woman recently made her way across the screens of thousands of people’s phones. She posted a video of herself onboard a flight. This isn’t exactly something that warrants a viral video. However, hers became as popular as ever because a mystery celebrity shared the same flight.
Influencer Paige Craig was the maker of the video. She had boarded a flight to Los Angeles, California, from Orlando, Flordia. The video starts off with Paige facing the front camera to herself. This was presumably an attempt to hide the fact that she was trying to film him as she pretended to take a selfie of herself.
Her interest was triggered by a bunch of other passengers coming over and asking the mystery celebrity if they could snap some pics with him. Her curiosity was too much to bear, so she posed the video to her 1.1 million followers, hoping they could fill her in on his identity. With a text overlay, she wrote: “Can somebody please tell me who this man is because people keep taking pics with him and I’m too scared to ask him who he is.” She also wrote in the caption: “Other information – he speaks Spanish and is a very nice man. Thank you for your service.”
Response from the A-Lister Himself
The video became so popular that the mystery celebrity himself came across it. He decided to post a video in response to reveal himself. He introduced himself as Eugenio Derbez. Although Paige already knew this from her followers commenting an answer to her post. Eugenio stitched her video to a response that was hilarious in its own right. “Hi Paige, let me introduce myself. My name is Eugenio Derbez and I’m basically an actor and director.”
Following his introduction, Eugenio spoke about everything he s famous for. He played parts in various Spanish TV shows, more commonly known as telenovelas. “But sometimes I’m a valet [parker],” he said as he showed some short shots of his most famous scenes.“Or a billionaire. Sometimes I’m also a music teacher, but what I do best… definitely is that I know how to be a Latin lover.”
Eugenio ended the video with his own question. The whole viral post started with Paige wanting to know who the mystery celebrity was. Now, Eugenio wanted to know who the mystery influencer was. It seemed the tables had turned. He asked his question right at the end of his stitched video: “Now can smeone please tell me who this girl is? Because people keep following her! She has more than one million!”
