Most of us have tried a Toblerone at least once in our lives. While we definitely love the iconic chocolates, how many of us have actually noticed the mountains on the packaging? Well, that isnât the surprise here actually. A young boy recently discovered a bear on the packaging as well. The discovery has left people feeling pleasantly surprised.
The childâs mother, Stephanie, went on to share this discovery on social media recently. She noted how he had spotted a bear drawing that seemed to be hidden in the logo of this Swiss chocolate-making company. The furry creature can be found on the mountain beside the block letters that spell Toblerone.Â
Toblerone and the Hidden Bear
The mother went on to tweet, âMy son had his first Toblerone today and he asked me, âWhatâs the bear for?â I was today years old when I found out thereâs a bear in the Toblerone logo.â Needless to say, most of her readers were quite shocked at this discovery. Like us, they had indeed not made the connection.

One individual went on to note, â71 years old, 50 Christmasâ of Toblerone and after a search of the package, I finally found the bear! Your son is brilliant!â Another individual stated, âWow hidden in full view for 60+ years to me.â Other users then mentioned how the emblem actually symbolized the mountains in Switzerland. The bear is possibly a species from Bern. One helpful commenter added, âToblerone comes from Bern, Switzerland. Also known as the city of bears.â

Another person went on to explain that this chocolate was made in Bern in the 1990s- with the cityâs coat of arms featuring a bear. Interestingly, this chocolate can be used for several things. Sharing it online, the mother stated, âShe has been showing a lot of interest in cooking so here is our recipe.â[2]
