When you were a kid, were you ever considered to be a genius? As a matter of fact, three children have just been recognized as some of the smartest kids to have ever walked the planet! In fact, from an IQ standpoint, they could’ve possibly out-brained Einstein back in his day.
Ramarni Wilfred, Anala Beevers, and Alannah George are the three children who have taken the title of genius to a new level. They’ve been declared the smartest kids in the world by Mensa, and the things they have accomplished will blow your socks off.
What is a Genius?
According to Mensa, IQ is a measurement of a certain type of intelligence.
IQ is a type of standard score that indicates how far above, or how far below, his/her peer group an individual stands in mental ability. The peer group score is an IQ of 100; this is obtained by applying the same test to huge numbers of people from all socio-economic strata of society, and taking the average.

In order to be considered a genius, you’d need to be well above 100. In fact, Mensa only admits the top 2%. Unless you have an IQ of 132, you won’t even be considered. Ramarni, Anala, and Alannah are all well above those figures. This is why they are considered to be the smartest in the entire world.

1. Ramarni Wilfred
At 16 years old, Ramarni Wilfred has an IQ higher than Bill Gates and the estimated 160 of Einstein. In the video above, BBC News spoke with a brilliant mind. Ramarni has an IQ of 162, for instance, which easily makes him a genius. He even wrote a paper on the philosophy of fairness at the young age of ten! Furthermore, he hopes to attend Oxford University and dreams of majoring as an astrophysicist.
2. Anala Beevers
When Anala was only four-years-old, she shocked the world with an IQ of 145. However, Anala has been full of surprises since she was born in New Orleans. At the age of 10 months, she was able to identify each letter of the alphabet correctly. After having her IQ tested and revealing her genius abilities, it wasn’t long until another learning challenge was smashed. Only a year later, at the age of 5, she could recite every United States state and capital flawlessly.
3. Youngest Genius Alannah George
The youngest of those to be named a genius is Alanna George. Hailing from the United Kingdom, the little girl was born with an obsession for numbers and words. Alannah has an IQ of 140 at the age of 4, and her parents believe she will only get smarter from here. What’s really incredible is how she taught herself to read before even starting school! As a result, she now has a passion for memorization instead of nursery rhymes. Truly a genius indeed!
