In a recent event, a supermodel has been crowned the most beautiful face of 2022. The event displays the top 100 most beautiful faces of 2022. It was put together by TC Chandler and a completely independent panel of critics, since 1990. The winner of this event was the former Victoria’s Secret Angel Jasmine Tookes.
The 31-year-old former model, who recently announced that she was pregnant- also fought off some of the most recognizable faces in the American movie business to secure the top spot. While it is pretty difficult to identify all of the top 100 faces that were picked up for the competition, there are a few notable ones. At 12th position was former Miss Israel and actor of Wonder Woman, Gal Gadot. In 27th place was Ana de Armas- who had once portrayed Marilyn Monroe in Blonde. And at 56 was Dua Lipa, the singer. [1]
The Most Beautiful Faces of 2022- Who Made The Cut?
Some other famous celebrities that made the list once again are Emma Watson, who was placed 65th, Emilia Clarke, who came in at 83rd, and Ariana Grande who featured 85th. Some newcomers to this list are Ana Maria Markovic, a footballer from Croatia, at 94, and Jenna Ortega- famous for her role as Wednesday Addams, at 97. Before our readers start rushing at us with pitchforks, we need to remind them that this was a completely subjective list- and beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder.
Regarding the process of choosing the most beautiful face in the world in 2022, Candler wrote, “Unlike most other annual beauty rankings, the 100 Most Beautiful Faces List is not a popularity contest and it is definitely not country-specific. It is not about the hottest or the most famous celebrity. Rather, the list attempts to inform and broaden public opinion, instead of reflecting it. The list introduces new faces to countries they ordinarily would not reach. The Independent Critics search far and wide, listening to the many millions of suggestions submitted by the public over the past couple of decades, and they then put together a list representative of the modern ideal of worldwide beauty.”

The post from TC Candler further read, “Aesthetic perfection is only one of the criteria. Grace, elegance, originality, daring, passion, class, poise, joy, promise, hope… they are all embodied in a beautiful face. WE select only 100 faces out of the approximately 160,000 celebrities. It is a thankless task since no individual will ever agree with all the choices. Over 50 countries are represented on the annual list. That number seems to go up every year as public participation grows and expands. This diversity relies heavily on public suggestions from almost every corner of the globe. Of course, lists are always very subjective… you will disagree with some of the choices, but perhaps you will find a new favorite. We hope you enjoy the list.”
The most beautiful face of 2022, Jasmin Tookes, is of African-American, European, Brazilian, and West Indian descent. It should also be mentioned that she has been featured on this list on seven separate occasions. For the male equivalent of the list, named ‘100 Most Handsome Faces of 2022’, it was Henry Cavill. The star of Superman and The Witcher series beat out Timothee Chalamet to secure the win.
The other runner-up was Hyunjin, a 22-year-old rapper from South Korea. In the women’s list of most beautiful faces, the third place belonged to Lisa of Blackpink. She has been on this list six times now. She won in 2021. Tookes, an ex-Angel, is now married to Juan David Borrero, the son of the Vice President of Ecuador.
