To many, Keanu Reeves is the closest we will ever get to a real-life saint. He is as good as it gets, and Hollywood should pay attention. We need more people like him on this planet.
In June of 2019, when Keanu was at an E3 conference, a fan shouted “you’re breathtaking!” to the actor when he walked on stage. “You’re breathtaking,” the actor said as he pointed to the audience. “You’re all breathtaking.” And the truth is that, yes, Keanu Reeves is a breathtaking person with a breathtaking soul.
Keanu Reeves Respects Women and Boundaries
If you’ve ever seen a picture of Keanu Reeves with a woman, you will notice his hand placement. It differs from the majority of famous people who are happy to grab in front of the cameras. But not Keanu! Even Twitter started noticing the gentlemanly behavior.
There was another time when the famous actor was taking the New York subway and saw a woman standing. Without a second thought, he looked at the woman, offered his seat, and stood up for the rest of the journey.
He’s Kind-hearted and Generous
When a teenager tried to get Keanu Reeves’ autograph at a local theater and failed, he lost hope. However, things quickly turned around for James Dator when Keanu learned about the kid.
“2 minutes later there’s a knock on the door behind me that leads into the box office,” Dator tweeted. “I assume it’s my manager. It’s Keanu.”
“‘I realized you probably wanted my autograph,'” Dator remembers the star telling him. “‘So I signed this.’ He hands me a receipt from the concessions stand that he signed on the back. He then casually throws an ice cream in the trash can and sees his movie.”

More importantly, Keanu Reeves donates his wealth to children’s hospitals and cancer research. Truly, this man is an angel among men.
“I have a private foundation that’s been running for five or six years, and it helps aid a couple of children’s hospitals and cancer research,” Reeves told the Ladies Home Journal in 2009.
“I don’t like to attach my name to it, I just let the foundation do what it does.”

The humble actor also takes lunches with the city’s homeless. He sits with them, treats them like human beings, and loves them. Just like we should all do.
If only we could all be as good of a person as Keanu.
Keanu Reeves Grew Up Just Like Us
Born in Beirut Lebanon and growing up in Toronto, Canada, Keanu had a tough childhood.
His father left him and his mother when he was only 2 years old. Later, his father was imprisoned for selling heroin. Meanwhile, his mother married three different times, giving him a damaged outlook on love and relationships. But that didn’t stop him from having a heart of gold and showing the world what real love looks like.
In 1999, Keanu’s longtime girlfriend Jennifer Syme gave birth to a stillborn baby girl. Another shock in his life was when she died 18 months later in a car crash.
