Riddles come in all shapes and sizes. And they are not just for entertainment either. Our riddles will be sure to be a healthy workout for your brain. These are riddles for kids, but they are trickier than you think.

Today we give you, just a few riddles, but they’ll give you a challenge. They are only simple at first glance, but once you try answering them you will soon see how tricky they are!

Riddle 1:

You are physically standing behind your father. At the same time, he is standing behind you. How is that possible?

Riddle 2:

A girl is talking with her friend. She says that she was born in 1955 and her 17th birthday was last week. The friend immediately thinks that she is lying. But she is telling the truth. How can it be?

Riddle 3:

You proceed when it is red but stop when it is green. What is it?

Riddle 4:

A word has 5 letters. You take away 4 of its last letters. But its pronunciation does not change. What is the word?

Riddle 5:

There are 2 of them in a corner, 1 in a room, none in a house, but there is 1 in a shelter. What is it?

Riddle 6:

I have branches but no fruit, trunk, or leaves. What am I?

The Answers:
