Model Shows Off Results Of Training His Jaw For Two Months

This man has been training his jaw all in an effort to be more beautiful.

We all have that one part of our body that we’d like to tone or tighten, and we’ll go through immense pain or pay through the nose for surgery. Then there are those special few who develop tools and hacks that make all that money and pain seem pointless. How we see ourselves depends on who we are as people; some of us are a lot more capable of just letting things go and not worrying about how we look, but some suffer from body dysmorphia and see something completely different from what is actually there. This can be caused by abuse or bullying and low self-esteem or fear, but genetics also may play a part and the chemical conditions in our brains, i.e., depression and anxiety.

A model has been training his jaw

In a recent viral TikTok video, Luca Marchesi showed off his jawline training technique and the results of two months of training, the results of which need to be seen to be believed. The reaction was definitely very mixed, with some comments saying; “jawline goals and that jaw could cut glass” and another saying; “gonna end up a triangle if you not careful and he looks like a bike seat,” Unfortunately, despite accumulating a following of over 1.8 million he has decided to delete his account as the mean spirited comments have gotten too much for him.[1]

“I just wanted to make a short announcement, and I intended to close this TikTok account. I’m sorry for everyone who follows me, but by now, out of five comments, I get four that are insults or criticisms.” Said Marchesi in a recent video. He goes on to say, “We had fun together, but it doesn’t make sense to continue” No one is quite sure if he will go through with deleting his account and losing his platform. Still, in previous interviews, he has said that he weighed about 230lbs at 18 and that it was not a good time for him as his girlfriend had just broken up with him and how that made him feel it was because of his body weight.

Not going as planned

Luca would meet with several modeling agencies to regain some type of self-confidence but was rejected by all, with one saying that he should come back after he lost some weight. He took this as a personal challenge and decided then and there that that is what he would do. He now brands himself as the CEO of Jawline, with many of his TikToks showing his jawline training technique. Marchesi said:

“Those who follow me know that in addition to training that jaw there was more, and I posted some important messages.”

Doctors are worried about him training his jaw

After the video went viral and got the attention of doctors, some of them had to speak out against following Luca’s lead. Experts have said that the over-developed masseter muscle can cause jaw pain, headaches, and a host of other serious issues. “Whether unintentional through teeth clenching, grinding or deliberate, the over-developed masseter muscle can cause temporomandibular joint pain,” says Dr. Martina Hodgson, a dentist and Invisalign doctor at The Dental Studio.[2]

“These are the muscles that connect the jawbone to the cheekbone and help us to chew, so an over-development in this region is not advised,” says Dr. Hodgson. She says that it is a way to fix the issue if the pain becomes too much.

The usual way to treat this condition is to offer a course of Botox injections which will first help to relax the muscles and then reduce inflammation, easing the pressure and assisting with comfortable chewing, which in turn will relieve jaw pain and migraines.

What do you think? Is all all that work really worth it for a jaw line?
