In the modern world, it is hard to tell whether someone’s flawless-skinned pictures result from editing, filters, or a cosmetic procedure – or possibly all three. Cindy Crawford recently posted a series of selfies that left the public speechless. Her skin is uncrinkled, and her hair is luscious. Even though she recently turned 58, she doesn’t look it.

On February 17th, Cindy Crawford uploaded a selfie video of herself. She was sitting in a sauna, wrapped in a white towel with a gold chain sitting gently around her neck. Her hair was unkempt, which is to be expected in a sauna. She was playing with her baby hairs that have wildly escaped the updo she secured her locks within. She captioned the video, “Baby hairs in the sauna.”
Many of her fans were amazed to see how well she is aging. One fan commented: “She’s a beautiful aging woman.” While another said: “Cindy, you are always beautiful! You have been my idol since I was a little girl.”
However, some of her fans raised a different point of view. They noticed that her iconic beauty mark on her upper lip was gonna, and her lips seemed much fuller. One fan asked: ’’Where is your iconic mole?’’ Another commented: “What happened to your lips? No fillers, please…You’re such a natural beauty Cindy, no need for that.”
Cindy Crawford’s Rise to Fame and Family
Cindy Crawford, the supermodel, was born on February 20, 1966, in DeKalb, Illinois. One Summer, at 16 years old, Cindy was working during her summer job detasseling corn. There, she was discovered for her modelesque beauty. The fashion industry latched onto her signature beauty mark above her upper lip and her tall figure. She quickly became one of the most famous models of the 1990s. Cindy was printed on the covers of hundreds of magazines, including Vogue, Elle, and Harper’s Bazaar, and walked the runway for some of the most prestigious fashion brands, including Versace, Chanel, and Christian Dior.
Crawford’s first marriage to Richard Gere lasted from 1991 to 1995. She later married businessman Rande Gerber in 1998. The couple has two children, a son named Presley Walker Gerber and a daughter named Kaia Jordan Gerber. Both Kaia and Presley followed in their mother’s footsteps and pursued modeling careers. Kaia became one of the most sought-after models of her generation, just like her supermodel mom.
Cindy Crawford joked once that her daughter “stole” her hair, as they both have dark and luxuriously wavy locks. ’’I look at my daughter and notice that her hair is shiny and healthy looking — she has my old hair, and I want it back!’’

Comparing her aged hair to her daughter’s brought a realization that many people do not talk about. Cindy says that people talk about wrinkles as if that’s the only thing to worry about when aging. “Everyone tells you your skin will age, but no one tells you your hair will age too,” she said and went on to talk about the textural changes that happen to our hair as we grow older. “I think we all expect to get gray hair, but I wasn’t aware that the texture was going to change, it was going to become more brittle, it was going to shed more.’”
Thus, she began her own aging hair-care line. She wishes to bring that healthy shine back into the hair of women who wish to age gracefully. Her goal was “to address not only [her] aging hair but to bring a solution to the market for the many other women out there experiencing these aging hair issues.”
