Rude woman calls tatted man a ‘dirty biker’ so he reveals who he truly is on Facebook

There is an old saying that you should never judge a book by its cover. One man turned to Facebook to share his experience when a rude woman did just that. Being judged by other people isn’t a fun experience. Especially when people are vocal about their judgments. So, have you ever been through something like this story below?

Bagels and Morning Coffee

Luc Perreault is your typical American-looking biker enthusiast. Covered in tattoos, bald, facial hair, leather vest- the works. He is familiar with getting a few stares here and there when he walks into places. However, most people keep their comments to themselves and just look at him for a second before turning away and enjoying their lives as normal.

One day back in 2013 in Ontario, Canada, Luc was testing out his mother’s motorcycle. He was taking it for a spin and making sure all the gears transitioned smoothly and that there were no issues with the boke in general. That’s when he saw a Tim Horton’s coffee shop. It was morning, and coffee always sounds good after a cool bike ride, so Luc stopped for a cup to go, not realizing all of this was going to end up on Facebook by the end of the day.

He approached the counter, placed his order, and waited. That’s when he noticed a little girl staring at him. But, she wasn’t looking at him in fear or as if she was afraid of him. Even though Luc describes himself as someone who “looks like they could eat your soul,” the little girl was more curious than anything. She smiled, said “hi,” and Luc smiled and said “hello” right back. According to him, it was a very pleasant and short exchange. However, what happened next made him take his story and share it on Facebook.

Rather abruptly, the little girl’s mother grabbed her by the hand and pulled her away from Luc. He overheard the woman say “We don’t talk to dirty bikers!” before shooing the little girl back to her seat.

Naturally, Luc was a bit upset by the comment he heard the woman say. So, he decided to write about what happened, on Facebook, and clear the air about “dirty bikers.”

The Facebook Post

To the family in the red SUV at Tim Horton’s today,

Yes I am a big 280 lbs guy with motorcycles and full of tattoos. I am a welder, I am loud, I drink beer, I swear and I look like I would eat your soul if you stare at me wrong. What you don’t know is that I have been happily married for 11 years. My kids call me daddy. I am a college graduate, my mother is proud of me and tells everyone how lucky she is to have such a wonderful son. My nieces and nephews are always happy to see there m’noncl Luc. When my daughter broke her arm I cried more than she did. I read books, I help people, I go out of my way to thank war veterans and I even cried at Armageddon.

…So next time I smile and say hi to your little girl and you grab her and tell her ” No no dear we don’t talk to dirty bikers” remember that even tho you hurt my feelings this “dirty biker” would be the first person to run into your burning house to save your little girls gold fish so she wouldn’t be sad!!!!

So, hopefully, the woman he saw that day was able to view his post. It’s an important lesson to teach our kids about tolerance and acceptance. Judgment doesn’t ever really help anyone as much as the person doing the judging thinks it does. Be kind.
